Doncaster School for the Deaf provides high quality education from 4 years up to 19-year-old pupils. Some pupils have additional needs. All have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) to meet their special educational needs.

Pupils are individually assessed for suitability to attend and we admit pupils throughout the year and at any time during their school career.

Please contact us to arrange a school visit where you can see our provision and meet some of our staff and pupils. Most parents, carers and local authorities benefit from personal visits.

Pupils will be invited for a short assessment period prior to admission and we aim to liaise with other educational settings to provide a smooth transition.

Fees to our school are paid by the relevant local authority and education funding agency.

The National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) provides valuable support and advice to families when considering specialist placements. Helpline:- helpline@ndcs.org.uk OR 08088 008880
