Little Learners Day Nursery operates within Doncaster Deaf Trust and is situated within the premises along with the Communication Specialist College and Doncaster School for the Deaf.
Our Nursery enjoys a range of specialist opportunities specifically designed to support the needs of any hearing impaired child. We have access to an Audiologist, a Speech and Language Therapist work alongside the Nursery to enhance the provision for children who are hearing impaired.
A number of staff members hold or are working towards a BSL Level 1 qualification with a number qualified to BSL Level 2.
We collaborate closely with the Local Authority Teachers for the Deaf and other specialist services who support us to provide the highest possible care and standards for children in our care.
Our nursery works closely with the Doncaster School for the Deaf to provide well planned and effective transitions for children who are offered a place for their formal school education.
