Little Learners Day Nursery welcomes young children, whatever their cultural, ethnic, religious or social backgrounds, and with or without additional needs.

The Nursery was founded in 2001 and operates as a Private, Voluntary and Independent day care facility within the grounds of The Doncaster Deaf Trust.  The Nursery has a large practitioner base, managed by a team of Senior Management Practitioners and overseen by an Executive Principal and Board of Governors and Trustees.

We are registered and approved by Ofsted (registration number: EY318526) to provide childcare and education for children aged from 6 weeks to 12 years.

Proud members of the National Day Nurseries Association, we run a curriculum defined by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and have a comprehensive policy handbook outlining our code of practice.

Our specialist 24-acre site offers learning through play in the open spaces of a well-maintained environment, conveniently located for the town centre. The Nursery has easy drop-off facilities and a free car park with designated spaces for parents/carers.

The Nursery is designed and equipped to a high standard and boasts excellent access throughout, with all facilities provided on a single level.  All areas are open-plan with direct access to our large, age-allocated and secure outdoor play spaces.  The nursery also has a modern sensory room to support the development of discovery and communication skills.

As well as exceptional amenities, we also have full access to the Doncaster Deaf Trust’s superb educational resource classrooms, including ICT suites, Design Technology rooms and indoor sports hall.  The Nursery also benefits from full additional on-site support services including a speech and language therapist, audiologist and school nurse.

We offer swimming lessons in our on-site swimming pool, for children aged from 3 years.  Children aged 2 or older can also get involved with Mini Kicks football club and Cre8ive Dance.
