Deaf Trust front

Like many charities, Doncaster Deaf Trust wouldn’t be able to do all that we do, if it wasn’t for the wonderful support we receive from many individuals and organisations.

We’d like to keep doing everything: weekends away for our deaf children in school, football teams registered in the Hallam Ability Counts league, The Deaf Youth Club and Social Club. The online free British Sign Language course – and so much more - and we’d like to keep adding new activities and resources when we can. But, without your help, doing this becomes harder and harder, particularly in the current
circumstances.

If you would like to help us to continue to provide excellent services and resources
for our children and students, there are several ways to do it:

  • Donate towards one of the campaigns detailed on our website
  • Purchase any of the wonderful products made by our students, available via the shop (also on the website)
  • Fundraise for us

In the past, our supporters have raised funds by running in the Great North Run and the London Marathon, running 200km on 30 days, losing weight and even sponsored silences. One supporter was going to Canoe 100km along the Thames until Covid 19 came along and the event was cancelled. Most things will attract backers, people who will sponsor you to do something different or unusual and if you’d like to support us and make us the cause for your efforts, we’d be really and sincerely grateful. We can help with publicity and promoting your event and we’ll provide t-shirts with our logo - anything we can do to help you to help us, we will.

Contact Andy Ellis - aellis@ddt-deaf.org.uk - to discuss your idea.

Thank you
