Little Explorers is an out of school and holiday facility which accommodates up to 30 children on a daily basis. We operate Monday to Friday before and after school during term time, and 7.45am-6.00pm during the school holidays. Children attending the before and after school club can take part in a range of educational and recreational activities appropriate to their age and stage of development. Breakfast and a light afternoon tea are served. Practitioners can also support children with homework and school projects if needed. Sessions are booked and absences are payable for this service. During the school holidays, sessions are booked as required, depending on availability. Children take part in visits and outings to a range of venues and can also use the onsite playing fields, tennis courts, sports hall and swimming pool. Breakfast, lunch and a light afternoon tea are served. The Nursery currently offers drop-off and collection services for the following schools: St Peters Catholic Primary School Bessacarr First Primary School Willow Primary School Lakeside Primary School The Nursery has allocated transport vehicles for drop-off, collection and outings. All vehicles are fully insured, fitted with age appropriate car seats and subject to ongoing maintenance checks. All allocated drivers are vetted for suitability and have a full clean driving licence and a minimum of two years driving experience. Availability is limited.
