Key Stage 3 pupils follow the full National Curriculum. To give our pupils increased confidence and understanding of number, we ensure all pupils develop skills at representing maths using hands-on activities at all ability levels.  Mathematical language and literacy skills are taught encouraging our pupils to engage in discussions about maths.

In Key Stage 4 pupils undertake GCSE or Entry level courses.  In addition, all pupils work towards functional maths qualifications.  Academic achievements in maths are valued alongside using maths for everyday life.

All pupils can access the internet resource ‘MyMaths as a key learning resource for home and school.  It provides clear English and useful visuals for maths from Year 1 up to GCSE and A-level.
