We recognise that, as employers, you need to look after your business and that you may not be experts in the many issues faced by disabled people. But we also know that, like most responsible employers, you would be happy to employ people with disabilities, if only you could get that extra help too; those little bits of advice or support when you need to. Now you can – and it’s FREE!

We are here to help you with those things; from finding the right person with the right skills, to advice about equipment, to offering mentoring for your new employee and possibly even funded training for a smooth transition into work. We are here to remove any worries or concerns you may have in relation to employing people with disabilities, leaving you free to run your business.

We are able to offer Help and Support to you, the Employer and to individuals, to make sure that your new employee makes the transition to work smoothly and we will provide ongoing support for as long as needed.

• Advice on the purchase of any specialist equipment that may be needed (Financial support may be available for this)
• Mentoring and practical assistance for your new employee, so that ‘personal’ issues don’t impact on their work
• Direct contact with your new employee’s adviser for anything you want to discuss
