Employability Employability Support The DWP Specialist Employability Support (SES) programme offers specialist support to disabled people with complex or multiple barriers preventing them from finding work. The scheme forges better links with Work Choice and Work Programme providers as well as specialist voluntary organisations in order to deliver an improved service. Doncaster Deaf Trust is the prime deliverer of the SES programme for people with a Hearing Impairment. We offer national delivery through a network of specialist staff and partners focusing on those people who need the most support to enter work or undertake work related activities. How SES can help Employers Case Studies Specialist Referral Organisations SES Partners Employers we work with Employability Updates Employers we work with We work with a large number of employers; from small local businesses to large national and even multi-national companies. Many employers have told us about their worries and concerns when employing people with disabilities and so we have put into a place a range of advice and support measures to assist our students and clients and employers for their mutual benefit. For students and adult clients: we provide translation services at interview, travel costs, give advice about childcare, assist with the change from benefits to a salary with people like the local council and housing associations and we provide an ongoing mentoring and advocacy service for as long as you need it. For Employers: We provide a translation service, will arrange deaf awareness training for your staff, can arrange sign-language training for staff, will provide advice on any work-place adjustments you might need to make (changing to a visual fire alarm system for example) as well as Disability Compliance legislation and advice on the best places to purchase any additional equipment (e.g. ergonomic keyboards, support chairs etc).
