A design and technology specialist teacher teaches pupils in Key stages 3 and 4. The School has facilities to teach all aspects of the Design and Technology curriculum including Food Technology, Textiles, Control Systems, Graphics, Electronics and Resistant Materials (woodwork, metalwork and plastics).

All pupils have the opportunity to undertake Computer Aided Manufacture and electronic projects programming them using BBC micro Bit. At Key Stage 4, we offer an optional GCSE qualification in Design and Technology and a Technical Award in Materials Technology.
