Business Administration Tutor explaining work to student

The Media and Office Technologies Department offers three pathways; Administration, Office ICT and Media. Each offers a range of skills and qualifications to give the best opportunity for students to achieve their long term goal, be it further education or a career.

Our programmes provide students with a range of skills and qualifications that are transferable to a variety of lifestyles and vocational areas. Programmes are studies from Entry to Level 3, with continuous assessment of competence and ability. This enable students to work at their own pace and build up to a full qualification.

No previous qualifications are needed to begin a course, and students can start at any level depending on their experience and or/ability. All qualifications are related to Office and Design

Available options: Pathway 1 - Administration. Pathway 2 - Office ICT. Pathway 3 - Media.

The three pathways have been designed to fit specific career choices. However, we recognise that not all students have a clear idea of where they want to be in the future. With this in mind, the Department is able to create a tailor-made timetable that integrates the pathways and enables students to focus on their strengths or improve on key areas.

These courses are designed to give student the skills to work in any administrative role or face-to-face with members of the public.
