A Celebratory Evening with Gervase Phinn, featuring hilarious tales from on of Yorkshire's most popular storytellers. 

Dr Gervase Phinn - author, poet, broadcaster, lecturer, educational guru, after-dinner speaker and "born raconteur" (The Guardian) - is perhaps best know for his warm-hearted reminiscences (published by Penguin) about the life of a schools inspector in the Yorkshire Dales and for his best-selling series of novels the Little Village School Series with Hodder. Affectionately dubbed 'the James Herriot of Schools', Gervase has written a wide range of academic books, short stories, plays, children's poetry and fiction. In 2004 he was voted 'Speaker of the Year' by the Association of Speakers Clubs and in 2018 recieved the Variety Yorkshire Legend Award
