I am concerned about a pupil in mainstream

If the pupil is struggling with the curriculum, a lack of peers, and poor attendance in a mainstream school, we would be happy to arrange a visit for you to discuss their needs. We can personalise a curriculum tailored to meet the child's individual needs. Depending of the age of the pupil we would consider taster courses at Doncaster College for the Deaf (located on the same site).

We would like our child to attend a school for the deaf, but our local authority's policy is to stay in mainstream

We recommend that you contact the Parent Partnership and the NDCS for advice. You are welcome to talk things through will us - contact details are here
