“with continued support from everyone things can only get better”
Doncaster College Deaf FC
Doncaster College Deaf FC was founded in 2000 a small number of players attending each week but over the past 10 years these numbers have grown not only in football players but also supporters for the club.
Doncaster College is now proud to have a successful First team competing in the Doncaster and District Senior League Division one and the Second team competing in the Ability Counts League. DCDFC has also had great success in the past and is currently looking to re establish a new Ladies team.
Many of our players are currently playing for the England, Ireland and Great Britain National Deaf squads competing against teams from all around the UK but also from around the world.
The College football academy is also a great asset to the Collage and the players who are involved gain more experience by playing with different people both hearing and Deaf by competing weekly in a collage league.
DCDFC is looking to achieve more in the next coming years with high hopes that one day we will be competing in a semi professional league. We also aim’s to spread the word within the Deaf football world so that new students can come and use the football academy while learning key skills at the college and one day become Great British Football players of the future. With help from our international contacts and friends so much more is possible and with continued support from everyone with the club things can only get better.
If you are interested in joining our club as a player or just becoming a supporter just contact us for more information ...every one is welcome and we hope to hear from you soon.
